Wade Taylor IV is a four-year guard from Texas A&M. He had a standout junior year, averaging 19.1 points, four assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game. His shooting percentages were 36.6 percent from the floor and 32.5 percent from beyond the three-point line.
Keion Brooks is a forward from Fort Wayne, Indiana. He played 14 games for the New Orleans Pelicans last season, starting six of them. Brooks averaged 10.1 points and 4.1 rebounds per game during his time on the court.
Cameron Hildreth spent his college career at Wake Forest. In his senior season with the Demon Deacons, he put up 14.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.7 steals per contest.
M.J. Iraldi is already familiar with the organization. He played for the Pacers' G-League affiliate, the Noblesville Boom, last season. Iraldi averaged 11.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game.
These are classic training camp deals. None of the four players are expected to make the final 15-man regular season roster. They are here to provide extra bodies for scrimmages and drills. It's a common NBA practice to evaluate young talent and fill out a preseason squad.
The Pacers still have one open roster spot. Some observers have suggested the team could use it to re-sign veteran forward James Johnson. For now, the focus is on getting the existing group ready.
