The Indiana Pacers should stay vigilant on the trade market this summer, according to Tyrese Haliburton. Recent rumors have indicated that Anthony Edwards may be hoping that the Minnesota Timberwolves shake things up, and while the Pacers don't necessarily need big changes, they shouldn't be resting on their laurels either. Indiana made their big-swing move at the trade deadline this year, landing Ivica Zubac from the LA Clippers. But that doesn't mean they can't make another move this summer. They have enough pieces to add a quality player alongside their current trio, and at the very least, Haliburton should want them to keep their eyes and ears open. The Pacers are in a good spot, but it could always be better. According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN, Edwards may not be too pleased with the current state of the Timberwolves' roster right now: "Going forward after this series, the Minnesota Timberwolves future is in question. Somewhat because of what Ant feels about the roster." Haliburton shouldn't feel that way about the Pacers. This team, with Myles Turner on it instead of Zubac, just made the NBA Finals one year ago. It's good enough to compete. That said, staying complacent is never smart in the NBA, especially considering so many teams got better this past year, and the Pacers were stuck in a gap year because of Haliburton's injury. The Pacers should be open to making another move this summer, and Haliburton should be the first to want them to do so.
